Dear Kim, due to renovation Vicingcafé is closed all summer 2013.
It will only re-open June 2014. Sorry about this.
There is lots of accommodation in Höfn, only 13 km away from the café.
It is absolutely worth a visit, cause it is also called the lobster town of iceland.
I hope I could help you with this.
Oke thanks Florian!
Hi Viking Gang, Will you be open at the beginning of June this year? Also wondering if we can access your place with a standard, two-wheel drive rental car. And camping possibilities? Kindest regards, Jeffrey and Miriam

Just read about the Viking cafe in lonely planet’s 2013 book. Will you be open in october 2015?

I left my wallet in there the other day and I was wondering if you had it by any chance.

the staff didn‘t report anything.
I guess, the best way would be, you go back and check yourself.
There is not much I can do for you, cause I‘m in Berlin at the moment.
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately I’m 10 hours away so I can’t go back. Is there a telephone number I could call to check?
